Considering my own and other's experiences of suffering in relation to theology and Mennonite church decision making on sexuality and gender, I was drawn to articulate a feminist Mennonite approach to ethics. My dissertation is titled, "Erotic Peacemaking: Toward a Feminist Mennonite Theological Ethics of Sexuality and Embodiment". My advisor was Dr. Marilyn Legge, now Professor Emeritus, a feminist Christian ethicist of dynamic and creative proportions.
